My favourite film - animated or otherwise - of 2011: Tintin is Spielberg at his best, delivering a gripping, globe-trotting adventure that's very reminiscent of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The great Hergà (C) characters are translated to the screen immaculately, and the great script and impressive clout of Peter Jackson as producers elevates the film to an absolute must-see.

This is an amazing movie! It's fast paced action keeps you hooked! I thought it was going to be childish but it was wrong! There is twists and turns while the characters go on an adventure you won't want to miss! Definitely something I recommend for all ages!

This kinda played out as a Indiana Jones movie.

Great movie. Absolutely phenomenal. Every so often I had to remind myself it was a cartoon because the animation was so realistic. All around incredible.

Some of the best mo-cap I've ever seen, with triumph in the realm of "Herge-ing" the character's proportions. At one point in the film I said out loud "we're almost there" when I forgot I was watching CG characters. A memorable score by John Williams that stands out in one of the most entertaining opening credits sequences I've seen. I will watch this movie again and again for many reasons, but most importantly one of the coolest action sequences that takes place without a single cut.
