I liked it. It wasn't anywhere near a great film. But I did enjoy the watch. Slightly slow paced.

A real hidden gem that caught me totally by surprise. A fun steampunk-inspired film aimed at kids but with a lot of good ideas. If you like the Indiana Jones and Mummy films, I think this one is well worth a try.

It could have been great -- great actors, good story -- but the dialogue was lame, the situations badly framed, and I could not find anything appealing about the main character.

A fun movie. This Victorian-era thriller has a good story presented with fine acting and excellent production values and cinematography. If the fact that it is PG doesn't turn you off, and especially if you enjoyed the Harry Potter films, you should enjoy this adventure. Poor title, though; even the original book title was better.
