There's a lot to like about this action adventure despite all negative reviews. It's fun, it's exciting, and it's greatly enjoyable. The Midas Box is a wonderful family movie.

Cheesy but super fun, moderately exciting, clean for kids. Loved the visual design of the sets, absolutely beautiful looking movie. Not without fault, but genuinely a fun family movie.

I think you're all missing the point. This was adapted from a book for kids. It's nice to see a movie that's truly family oriented. Face it, kids don't get the deeper political contexts and don't care about the romance and flirting in Hollywood movies. They like the action and explosions, sure, but often barely get the gist. This is paced for 8-13 year-olds and I found it charming. There's so little product really made for that age group these days.

For a short film, the adventure, intrigue and old world theme, with mystery passion and dare I say a Sherlock Holmes feel and a hint of Indiana Jones and a pinch of Spiderman. This Adventurer is a classic in its genre. A kick back and relax to movie for all to enjoy. All actors did their parts convincingly true to the era.
