Term Life (2016)

If Nick Barrow can stay alive for 21 days, he'll die happy. Everyone Nick knows wants him dead; Mob bosses, contract killers, and dirty cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter. The problem? The policy doesn't take effect for 21 days. I'm glad I rented this rather than seeing it on an expensive big screen, but this was a pleasant little action flick. Star power propelled what could have been a mundane movie into something nicely watchable.

Despite Vince Vaughn's wooden acting, TERM LIFE is a decent film. Maybe not much on the rewatch value. But seeing it for the first time, I was riveted. So much that I didn't touch my PS4. (This movie is also glaring proof of the sheer and peerless incompetence and unreliability of film critics)

Vaughn was pretty decent in this. But I had to turn it off half way through due to crappy dialogue & plot holes. [4/10]
