Aside Ellen Page and Allison Janney's chemistry, which makes up for the best scenes of the whole film, Tallulah is an ambitious movie with a thought-provoking message and it does a good job at delivering just that -- though it does take nearly two-hours of running time to do such, and unfortunately there are other similar-type movies that do a better job at that.

So satisfying to see great acting, writing, and direction from by and about women. Really changes the typical viewing experience. We get to care about everyone and women get to be flawed. And, great, funny, riveting movie.

Ellen Page is een verlichting in de rol van haar leven, waarin ze haar talent als actrice duidelijk laat zien zonder teveel dialoog en ware emoties. Tallulah is het soort disfunctionele familiedrama die je zowel met een traan als een glimlach zal raken.

Ellen Page y Alison Janney forman una mancuerna actoral magnífica, emocional, y divertida. La historia tal vez luche por sostenerse, pero ambas actrices están tan bien que su gran química acaba por llevar la trama a buen puerto.
