Ella Raines Rocks! The best depiction of my fav hero as a perfectly gangly cowboy.

RKO's Western is simple but entertaining and it's fun to see the Duke, who enjoys good chemistry with the tough and sexy Ella Raines just before he became a box-office star.

Ella Raines is a dish...and there's some good action and funny lines, but the plot doesn't make a whole lot sense.

I'm not a huge John Wayne fan but, if his older stuff is as fun as this movie then I can understand why people loved western's so much.
