[font=Arial]I couldn't believe that I liked this film. It was great. The first 20 minutes was a bit of "been done before" drawl. The rest of the film was really (and surprisingly) good. I've always been a bit of a sun worshiper anyway so I thought the setting was perfect. The acting was acceptable. I almost forgot that Madonna was a singer, she really got into character.[/font] [font=Arial][/font] [font=Arial]It's such a shame others didn't rate this film highly. It had such good flow and the ending was almost heartbreaking.... not to give too much away :D[/font] [font=Arial][/font] [font=Arial]Watch this for yourself.[/font]

"One of the Worst films of all time"... Hm... I seriously cannot understand what's so bad about this film. Madonna CAN act, she just doesn't know how to at her full potential. When it's not making you laugh, it's a fantastic drama. Yes, it falls apart at times but it manages to pick itself up. I can bet your money that in 20 years or so, this film will be cult classic, like a previous Madonna-starring film "Who's That Girl?".

The perfect example of how NOT to make a movie.....Lesson 1---Don't cast Madonna....Lesson 2---Don't Make such a BIZARRE ending....Lesson 3---Don't make a story that almost everyone has already hear of, unless u want to invite charges of plagiarism...Lesson 4---Just Pack up and leave halfway through the shooting.....the losses would have been far less.....I hope I've made my opinion about this movie clear!! What is this woman good at??..She can't sing, can't act, and doesn't even look good...the only thing she can do is create controversy, and create films which make you want to gouge your eyes out!

This film actually was surprisingly good. I rented the video before I read the reviews, and after I read the recviews I was a little nervous to watch it. When I did watch it, I was delighted to see that it was an actual good story line. Despite what other critic and viewers have said, I thought Madonna's performance was pretty good! I would recommend seeing it! Although the ending was most disappointing and sad, I realized that every story can't end like a fairy tale.
