I was sucked in from the first minute, however, it lost focus and dragged on too long. The plot and characters never developed deep enough for me to feel engaged in. Nonetheless, good performances.

Shy auto mechanic with a fixation on a beautiful musician instead maybe finds what he is looking for in the friendship of a neighbor who struggles in a bad home. Two directionless people who find the path in each other. A pretty good little indie drama

Believable, quiet, low key performances. Ingenue January Jones is scrubbed of her suburban housewife role in "Mad Men" and joins Lukas Haas on the other side of the tracks. Lee W. Weaver is touching as Haas' mentor and the owner of the Volvo repair shop where drama unfolds.

Starts off well, but unfortunately quickly becomes tangled with various subplots and plot intricacies that seem to be too much for this first-time director to handle. Had he kept the story simple, it would have been a much better movie. Watch Gigante instead - great indie movie from Uruguay with somewhat similar plot but much better executed. Less is more - a very true saying.
