Love the shot with the shadow of the pendulum of the clock going back and forth between Joan's eyes. Also the bit with the wind up toy dog is classic. Palance is excellent in dark roles, see Le Mepris.

This movie is riveting from start to finish. I loved it! I thought the title was strange but boy, what a ride of suspense. Crawford is fantastic and Palance makes the perfect villain.

Featuring an over the top melodramatic performance from Joan Crawford, this is nevertheless a great story with a fantastic climax.

joan crawford and jack palance are both excellent. What a great play on the idea of the disembodied voice through a phonograph--> one of the less appreciated noirs / woman's films, I have seen.
