Beautiful young Daisy feels stuck working as a shopgirl by day and caring for her ailing mother by night. A suicide gone wrong leaves Daisy wrongly imprisoned, while the neighbor whose testimony put her away struggles with guilt. A tongue-in-cheek homage to 1950s women-in-prison films.

besides "I spit on your grave", this is the most messed up movie i've seen.

Tight narrative, good action, great acting, great directing. Saw it last week at Wisconsin Film Festival. Highly recommend it!!!

This is a B-movie masterpiece. A girl strung on ecstasy hits a bum with her car, panicks, and runs - with the badly injured man laying on the hood. Not knowing what to do she stores the car - with the skewered victim stuck halfway through the windshield - in her garage and waltzes off with her boyfriend. But you ain't seen nothing yet... This is one of the most excitingly unpleasant movies I've ever seen - if that description makes any sense. Oscar-winner Steven Rea plays the bum, and he's good, even if his lines are mostly moans.

This was just fuckin' wrong. Great, but wrong. Only Stuart Gordon would have the balls to take such an insane real life event and say, "There's a movie here".

Horrifying and morally grotesque. More often than not, I was cringing and covering my eyes and not wanting to know how the next plot twist would unfold. Surprising ending, given my opinion was the only way the director would be able to work it out is for everyone in the film to die. One of the most challenging to watch films I've seen in a long time.
