50 Cent and Val Kilmer deserve kudos galore for cultivating a convincing chemistry in this well-concealed whodunit which takes you on a relentlessly-raw, rollercoaster ride certain to satiate the bloodlust of fans of the high body-count genre.

If you need to learn one thing about this movie, then it's that if you're bad, you'll have a lot of sex. And then you'll both get shot. Violently. It's not Training Day, but it works on the same subject, where the lines between good and bad don't depend on the badge.

Stop giving all the acting jobs for Afircan-Americans to rap stars. Are we really so shallow that we won't go see a black man act unless he has a gold album or two and is a wanna-be gangsta? Kilmer is okay and Stone is okay but this film is just more proff that both are tired and past their prime. Neither puts in the effort to make their role anything more than passable. The story is ridiculous, the production values inconsistent, and more than anything I was offended that it plays itself off as a film about post-Katrina New Orleans. Decent action scenes and the Katrina footage are the only things that make some moments of this film passable.

A pretty shabby cop flick, Val Kilmer and Curtis Jackson both put on some poor performances, along with the rest of the sorry cast. The script was linear, unguided with hardly any concrete content to give it momentum. The shootouts were okay, but nearly everything else was less than that. Overall a putrid film.
