I love this movie. It was one of my favorites as an teen and still is to this day. Lots of action and good end fights make this a must see!

Mmmmmmm cheese. Excellent good-bad movie for those who can appreciate such. The plot, thinly veiled UN stand in led by Jean-Claude Van Damme takes on meglomaniac pyschopath General M. Bison and his army in Southeast Asia. There's more going on and its all wonderfully chaotic in its insainity :). Raul Julia (as Bisn his final role) takes haming it up to a whole new level, and everyone has lines guarenteed to make you laugh. I love it! Leave logic and such behind, grab a beer and enjoy it for what it is:)

A mission for a crack team of Allied Nations forces mission becomes complicated when it is learned that the rebels have taken 63 relief workers hostage, and Colonel Guile's (Jean-Claude Van Damme) troops must somehow find and rescue the hostages before they are systematically executed. As the Shadaloo civil war enters its seventh month, Allied Nations Forces, led by Colonel Guile, secure the Southeast Asian port after a night of skirmishes with the City Militia. The latest casualties; twelve An troops killed, three officers missing and 63 relief workers taken hostage by the renegade General M. Bison (Raul Julia). The ransom: $ US 20 billion. the dead-line 72 hours. Location of hostages: unknown. also stars Kylie Minogue, Wes Studi, Ming-Na, Simon Callow, Roshan Seth, Andrew Bryniarski, Grand L. So this movie, if your looking for a great adaptation of a video game, this is not it. although. if you forget everything about the game and story I find it extremely awesome... but you fools out there may not. UNless you a Van Damme fan. wich I fucking am

I love this film. It is soooo bad that it needs to be seen by everyone. The final shot with the "heroes" posing in a group photo is just cinema gold.
