Non sequiturs and coffee and violence. This isn't a spaghetti western. This is the definitive splatterpunk western.

Punk Western way off the beaten track, a genuine cult movie. Dick Rude and Joe Strummer are very naturalistic and believable for non-actors and Sy Richardson is super-cool. Really interesting cast includes Elvis Costello, the Pogues, Amazulu, Kathy Burke, a really irritating Courtney Love, and a brief passing-through cameo from Grace Jones and Dennis Hopper. It goes without saying that Quentin Tarantino has blatantly borrowed some ideas from this film and Repo Man.

Totally absurd, loses what little plot it had near the end. You will want to murder Courtney Love every time she is on screen. Nevertheless, it's random and sometimes hilarious, and has a great cast of rockstars like Joe Strummer and the Pogues wandering around.

It's a complete disaster, but this Alex Cox spaghetti Western/gangster/rock 'n' roll flick has some lively cameos: Shane McGowan, Elvis Costello, Grace Jones, Dennis Hopper, Jim Jarmusch and a pre-Hole Courtney Love!
