Likeable enough throwback to newspaper screwball comedies of the 30s and 40s, with terrific leads, some of the wit and none of the style.

I love this movie...especially the scene where both sides end up in the same room to watch the debate and they zoom in alternately on their mouths as they brush hands and whisper to each other in a room full of people and NO ONE hears them plan to sneak out together. :D I just love it. People rarely pay attention.

This was a movie I watched in one of my first film classes and I'm not sure why. It sucked. Only highlight was it's Christopher Reeve's last flick before he took a little tumble off a horse.
