A horror film, similar to They Live, where the villain is the rich upper class controlling all. Lotsa gory dreamlike orgies

Classic 80s horror from Brian Yuzna. It's all about the final scenes and Screaming Mad George's (proper) FX are disturbingly amusing in a splendidly perverse climax. Let the shunting begin..

Society is fuckin' great for so many reasons. The effects, the feel, and the message were perfect. Screaming Mad George should have won some kind of award for the makeup work that he did. I had truly underestimated Brian Yuzna as a director for the longest time. In the last few years I've come to know the error of my ways. The orgy scene alone more than justifies this movie's existence (for those of you who have seen it, I'm sure you'll agree). This movie should be celebrated, but it seems to be largely forgotten, it's a shame. I mean, it's got all of the ingredients that make up a classic 80s splatterfest (big hair, big tits, and gloriously gross effects, served with a generous helping of irreverence), and the social commentary is dead on (at least among the rich people I've had the displeasure of coming across). If you haven't seen it, see it, and if you have, see it again.

Dobar film, sa vrlo zanimljivom pricom, ali nazalost malo je trapavo realizovan. Snimljen je osamdesetih godina, te cete morati da trpite one grozne frizure koje su se tad nosile. Inace, radi se o malcu koji osjeti da nije bas sve u najboljem redu sa njegovom okolinom. Naravno, na kraju ce se ispostaviti da je potpuno u pravu. Film sadrzi mnostvo ogavnih (u najboljem smislu rijeci) specijalnih efekata, dobar humor, zanimljivu pricu, nazalost - premalo je golotinje i incestuoznih scena. Treba nam rimejk.
