High above the tiny hamlet of Grockleton stands Beesley Manor, home to the ominous Landlord and his...shall we say, genetically ambiguent...minions, including Pooch, a cross-eyed marksman, and Dobbin, who likes to drink gasoline. The Landlord keeps a watchful eye over his domain, brutally dispatching any strangers who enter - except for females he needs to (involuntarily) sire a Beesley heir...When three unsuspecting travelers arrive, the Landlord plans to make two of them his trophies and the other his bride...unless they can beat him at his own game.

Admirable simply for getting made and I was never exactly bored... but needed more Warwick!

High on gore and low in budget. This film does really well given it's restrictions and the humour is well used to boot. 3 travellers stumble upon a town inhabited by freaks and low life. Good film!

Wannabe "Tom Waits" soundtrack meets a "Mr Bean goes slasher" script. Nice camera and light though.

For a first attempt at making a film, with no money (6,000 pounds I read) , family and friends as the actors (except for Warwick Davis in a supporting role) and no script--they shot it on the fly,---- this film rocks! Its ridiculously funny, actually scary in parts, unique bad guys and as long as you understand that its all very tongue in cheek, you will enjoy the ride. For those of you who aren't familiar with British slang, "fag" means cigarette, not a homosexual slur--you won't get one of the early jokes if you don't know this!
