This is a bad movie. While it is easy to see what the writer and director wanted to accomplish, nothing is able to fit together. There are some laughs but a lot of the dialogue just doesn't fit together. The theme of the movie is obvious since a line of dialogue gets repeated a few times throughout the movie, but it doesn't mean anything when the movie is over. Nothing is really done to advance this particular theme. The acting was alright. Personally, Juno Temple did the best job for the role that she had. That small of a role for her was unacceptable. There should have been more scenes with her character, as she could have made more comical situations. Definitely not worth the rent.

This is an underrated movie. It is bizarre, ironic, poetic and sad. I don't think it is a real comedy. It has far more dept of a normal comedy. The main character is too eccentric and almost grotesque, the plot is contorted but still plausible. Also, the music is really strange for a comedy. It's mainly ambient and minimalistic music, of even good quality. It show the life of a misfit, almost idiot fat guy who spent his life in a small room pursuing strange habits, which he finds absolutely normal. Its poetry consist in his research of happiness, justice and freedom in a very uncommon way. Underrated and not understood by the most.

Very strange film indeed, something different - Jonny Knoxville and Matt Lucas are great in particular, playing a stoner and a bald oddball respectively. Lucas' american accent is great! much better than Sean Beans.
