This movie was promising in premise, but suffers from a lot a very poor directing decisions. The most aggravating thing, though, is the total absence of "Slender Man" in this film. My friend and I think there might have been a very brief glimpse of the beast at the end, but, again, due to poor directing, this is simply not defined enough to equal a reveal.

My friend didn't like the film because you didn't see much action. The thing though is that when he's around, camera's tend to disorent due to the entity's desire not to be seen, such as other entities. The film follows orgin and plot beautifully the actors also did a great job. Not only was I impressed with this film particularly but I was also impressed that these people were able to pull off a horror film which in this time is extremely difficult if you don't have substantial income and a well known name like Blumhouse or IFC or even Anchor Bay. I paid 15$ for the film at an FYE and it was worth every cent.

Terrible movie! Slenderman or any figure of that sort isnt in the movie at all. Its a joke. It doesnt even become anything until about 30 minutes in. Do not waste your tome!
