An absolutely delightful little British comedy-drama about a boy who's set to have his Bar Mitzvah on the date of England's 1966 World Cup triumph. Great performances and an entertainingly-snappy script make this a 4-2 winner.

Maybe I was tired or in a bad mood when I watched it, but I didn't enjoy this movie as much as everyone else did.

Okay film, was interesting having the world cup as a background and the main characters fight against it in order to get his day.

This was a really great little film. Once again Eddie Marsan was amazing (he was the best thing about 'Happy-Go-Lucky'). Nicely told story, something that seems to be more and more rare these days.

A well written script about a young man growing up, about a broke family, all happens in the year of 1966. It's a true to life story, down to earth, and well-acted. Wonderful little British film, a must-see!
