Not as stinky of a turd as I'd been lead to believe. Great soundtrack and a great cast (except for Jamie Walters) but ultimately, a flat storyline rife with cliches. And talk about a dumb ending.

One of those rare Travolta films that was solid during his walkign in the wilderness between his first run of success and second. Focuses on his impact on a group of local small town kids and their lived including a pre "fame" Heather Graham and pre 90210 Jaime Walters

Shout is a decent watch starring John Travolta as a music teacher tutoring young rebellious students. The cinematography is decent and the acting is alright. Heather Graham much before being successful plays one of the leads. You can watch it if you are interested in early 90s musicals or are a fan of john Travolta and have vowed to watch every film of his.(strictly for Travolta fans only).
