Shivaay (2016)

Shivaay , a fearless Himalayan mountaineer covered in Lord Shiva tattoos, heads to Bulgaria to fulfill his nine-year-old daughter Gaura's wish of seeing her mother Olga, who abandoned them years ago. But their plan goes for a toss when the little girl gets kidnapped in the foreign land. Rescuing her from the masked child-traffickers becomes his only reason for survival.

If you are reading this movie please don't watch it as it's waste of time and money. It's an over load of montages and cliches and one liners. Poor direction and most of the actors were irrelevant or not acted well, the story was with lot of plot holes and establishment was poor, but things like cinematography and actions were only good.

With crisper editing and less melodrama, Shivaay could've been the best of the year. But the 'more is less' approach just doesn't work out.

Like the snow-covered mountains that form a backdrop to much of Shivaay, the film may have been meant to inspire awe, but the end result leaves you stone cold.
