Oh! Is this the childish version of "Source Code"? It's funny but I guess it's not easy for children to understand it, because it's even confusing for adults. Nothing is new in the story itself but riddled with cliches, with annoying recurrence reducing the thrilling and the adventure. As every year we find a Christmas movie that deals with someone want to kidnap Santa or know his secret way to deliver all these Christmas gifts around the world in one night. Anyway, it speaks to the Christmas spirit in us to go back to our past and childhood to live its joy again. Energetic songs, bright and colorful and lovely animation job. That at least restores some of the formal and normal story. I'm afraid it would not be amusing for kids.

This is old-fashioned Christmas animation with solid values, encouraging honesty, hard work, and kindness. It's appropriate for younger children but the time-travel element appeals to older children as well; adults are amused by the nod to the kind of actual practical problems that would appear if someone did succeed in inventing time travel. The voice actors are excellent, especially Martin Freeman in the lead role, and the songs upbeat and fun. Ignore reviewers who think that every animated movie ought to be made in Pixar fashion, and just enjoy yourself. If your family liked Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer (at least before they'd seen it too many times), they'll love Saving Santa.

A pretty good Christmas movie. Its a great movie for kids, that still has those funny moments where even adults will laugh.
