Santa's in the midst of a late-life crisis -- he's tired of the responsibilities of the job and is ready to pass on the reins to Mary, who feels torn between the family business and running her own high stakes firm in New York City, along with balancing a relationship with the love of her life, Luke (Dean McDermott). Put the knee-length boots to the sleigh! Santa temporarily retires to start a band and ends up in jail, leaving his daughter to run things amidst the distrust propagated by an underappreciated Velma-esque mail carrier trying to take over the workshop.

This was your usual sugar cookie cut out of a Christmas movie storyline. It wasnt bad. Predictable but cute. The only glaring problem with this movie is Jenny McCarthy. Her acting is terrible. She is just not entertaining. In fact, she is downright annoying. She really needs to sticks to non acting ventures.
