Ok it was bad to begin with but the end ROCKED

surprisingly really good. True it's still the same humor Sandler is best known for but like the cobbler and click it adds a very sincere layer of drama to it.

This newest Sandler vehicle is inspired and warm-hearted where his other recent movies are lazy and soulless. Does that make it a winning success? Hell no, but it’s good to see Sandler put his heart into his work again.

Wexler isn't a particularly good movie, but it's mesmerizing all the same, projecting a strange mixture of heartfelt homage, reactionary nostalgia, lowbrow integrity, and contractually obligated indifference.
