Outstanding, beautiful, tragic, confronting...but outstanding. Did I say brilliant? This film has deserved every ounce of its critical acclaim. Congrats to the whole team on this one. Not a film for the faint hearted or for those without an open mind.

A film with the power to understand what it means to be Australian.

Very moving. Unfortunately true to life. Sad.

It's rare you see "Critics - 100% liked it" and in this case I am not surprised - this is an excellent flick - insightful, bare-bones, gritty, yet with moments of tenderness and humour despite the tough storyline.

Despite the totally horrible setting and the hopelessness of their situation - this is one of the most beautifully shot films I have seen in a long time. The performances by the two young people - while largely unspoken - are breathtaking. This is must see.
