I love all gangster films and this one really got to me as the whole thing revolves around the people with connections to Salvatoire Giuliano. A bloody brilliant film, classy as hell...

Cinematic perfection, scorcese sights it as an influence on taxi driver! Amust see even if like me you dont speak italian and the region 2 copy only has italian subtitles!

I liked how the criminal for which the film is named after was never really shown. Only the effects that his actions had within a post-war Sicily were depicted making this ultimately a movie more about the history of Sicily than about Salvatore Giuliano. The corruption within Sicily at the time can definitely reflect the corruption of today.
