Although generally regarded as the lesser of the two Latin American "package films" produced by Disney in the 1940s, "Amigos" is still a delightful travelogue punctuated by an animated acid trip featuring this film's greatest addition to the Disney pantheon, Jose Carioca.

It wasn't as fun or as entertaining as it should have been. "Saludos Amigos" feels like a postcard sent from South America but it lacks the charm of a good Disney movie.

Saludos Amigos feels like a direct to dvd movie, but it is a fast and energetic piece that might teach the kids a thing or two.

Well done film that feels more like a documentary with cartoon shorts than a film but good none the less. Donald and Goofy are always enjoyable.

This documentary film makes you travel around South America and learn a lot about other cultures and their way of life while having so much fun. Charming :)
