Rosewood Lane (2011)

Radio talk show therapist Sonny Blake moves back to her childhood home on seemingly idyllic Rosewood Lane after her alcoholic father dies. But upon arrival in the old neighborhood, Sonny discovers her neighbors are terrified of the local paperboy. She thinks this is ridiculous, until she encounters the boy himself. It turns out that he is a cunning and dangerous sociopath, one who may have gruesomely killed her father - and others.

another one that is worth seeing at least once... some stupid parts and unrealistic, but, it's a little creepy.... with the twist at the end...

It could be a great horror thriller but Rosewood Lane suffers of stupid characters. Still an entertaining ride.

Movie starts off ok but quickly turns into farce. No real plot and goes nowhere. Acting was ok but storyline gets a bit silly. It can't decide if it is a supernatural or a thriller and ends up being neither.

Et c'est reparti pour un tour de manège avec un harceleur (un Paperboy qui a l'air d'avoir au moins 30 ans, parfaitement ridicule) et une victime (une psy, même pas en débardeur...à se demander si elle veut vraiment s'en tirer?). Un schéma de thriller psy dépourvu de toute trace d'originalité, dont l'impact se trouve encore atténué par un traitement désespérément passe-partout. Les acteurs ne sont pas terribles, l'affrontement est d'un classicisme déprimant (il mets son pied dans la porte, elle lui claque la porte au nez ; il fait des sales blagues au téléphone, elle raccroche ; et puis évidemment, il finit par avoir envie de la tuer...mais on sait bien que c'est elle qui le tuera) et jamais on ne se sent surpris - pour ne même pas dire effrayé - par cet ennuyeux jeu du chat et de la souris. Rares sont les Thriller qui vous font lâcher, à plusieurs reprises, un "Qu'est ce que je m'emmerde!". "Rosewood lane" y parvient brillamment. Ce sera d'ailleurs son unique titre de gloire.
