Hilarious... good luck trying to find it though. The Canadian Wizard of Oz!

This is one odd adventure of a few odd misfits. Has an odd post modern twist that helps increase the level of absurdity to an otherwise ignorable film.

A quirky journey across Canada with a bunch of characters seeking answers to their emptiness, which can hopefully be filled at Saddle River. It's a Trans-Canada version of the Wizard of Oz? A shy immigrant man wants be a cowboy. He teams up with some strange characters. They have misadventures along the way; and we see great Canadian scenery. It's a charming and meditative movie. The "Home on the Range" finale is quite peaceful. This needs a DVD release.
