Renegades (1989)

While investigating police corruption in his department, undercover cop Buster McHenry is forced to participate in a heist, leading to innocent casualties and the theft of an ancient Lakota tribal spear. After McHenry ends up severely wounded, he is taken in by Native American Hank Storm, who is out to recover the spear and avenge the death of a loved one in the heist.

An excellent introductory scene a rather long end and finally smoothie action. A good time destroyed. Une scène d'introduction excellente une fin plutôt longue et finalement de l'action smoothie. Un bon moment réduit à néant..

Largely gung-ho nonsense, but it’s always a pleasure to see J.K. Simmons in ball-busting mode, barking words like “simpletons!” at his men.

With a little more wit and a little less blood, Renegades could have been Lethal Weapon Jr. It is a fast, violent, implausible film about mismatched partners, and though it doesn't exactly break the bounds of its trashy genre, it's not at all bad for what it is.

While it started out ok and with nice action later it kind of went into the generic type of action movie path without anything interesting added to plot and it ending in a super predictable way - which might be ok for action movies, but only problem that there werent much action at the end Expand
