I agree with Bills thoughts! You can't believe in things that have no proof or explanation. It's common sense people, half of the shit that's in the bible or that we've been taught is a fucken lie!!!!!!

Brilliant. Cathartic. Inspired. Bill Maher Is An Extraordinary Satirist. In This Excellent Doc, Maher Examines Religion And Man's Interpretation Of Religious Texts. The Film Is Both Enlightening And Utterly Hilarious. "Religulous" Isn't Nearly As Offensive Or Disrespectful As You Might Have Heard. The Film Is Extremely Well-Made And Thoroughly Compelling. Maher Is An Excellent Interviewer And Guide. He Asks Questions That Make You Seriously Question Your Beliefs And Does So With Wit And Humor. "Religious" Is A Brilliant Movie And One Of The Best Docs I've Ever Seen.

The reason I like this film as much as I do is because Bill Maher makes a point in saying he doesn't know the answers. Like all good skeptics, this is the best line of thinking. He's trying to find the answers and so far the "answers" given to him by religion are just ridiculous.

This documentary is not thinking in or out of the box, but throwing the box away, to let in reason and logical thinking. He says what some people question (even when they won't admit it) and makes people thoroughly think, which is why the big "What if" either damages or clears things up for an individual watching this documentary. I think, Bill, though entertaining and clever on catching his debater off guard, has done a fine job on pointing out the flaws of religion, and I give him kudos for doing this and making something for societies eyes to glance at, including the open minded. But what do I know, i'm more of an evolutionist.

What a wonderful movie. Oh, what I would have given to have been Bill. I've always asked myself questions about gods and such things, and have stood firm by being agnostic. He does what I can't. It's not an attack on religion, just a period of realization dawning in the minds of all those blinded by words and faith.
