Martial artist Mike Terry lives by a strict code of no competitions, for he feels that such contests weaken fighters. oh yeah!!! a fighting film with a plot that finally takes itself seriously with no bullshit. has all the right ingredients....the quiet, reserved hero who puts honour before all else. never thought i'd enjoy a fight movie since the van damm early days : kickboxer and bloodsport. just hope chiwetel doesn't go all commertial and start churning out action hero crap cause he looks destined to be the next big thing.

I couldn't find one flaw in this movie. It's raw, it's real, it's beautiful, it's....one of the best martial arts movies ever!! And I know a lot of people are going to disagree, since the movie isn't packed with incredible fight scenes from start to end. And that's fine. See, to me it's not about the physical fights that define the greatness of a martial arts movie. It's the individuals fight against life. And the struggle against their own morality. The honoring of the code and so on and so on. And to capture that in a film, beautiful! Hats off to David Mamet. By the way, Chiwetel Ejiofor is now one of my favorite actors. Breath-taking job.

Dudo que a dÃa de hoy exista un mejor escritor en el mundo del cine que David Mamet. Mamet es capaz de hacerte una pelÃcula buena sin importarle el gÃ©nero que decida elegir. Si no has visto esta peli, no pierdas el tiempo y ponte a verla... y si no has visto alguna peli de Mamet, Â¿a quÃ© esperas para pegarte una panzada de buen cine?
