Intermittently watchable. As an NYU alum I was very impressed by the characterization, particularly the musical theater girl. But the deaths are lame, there is less than zero suspense and the montages of NYC landmarks insult my intelligence.

they waiste a lot of time on build up, getting to know the characters and what not. The main character is pretty unlikeable so that means the build up was a waist of time. Then people start getting killed in unimaganitve ways and the ending is no shocker. pretty lame

Eww, the fact that I finished this is a testament to my boredom and probably stupidity. I nearly turned it off 10 minutes in but the Netflix rating was high so I figured there had to be something along the way. The imdb rating is more like it (2.0). I hate violent movies anyway, but this one really offered no payoff for seeing the violence. All of the characters were deplorable in some way and did stupid things to make all the violence possible. Grrr, can I have 90 minutes of my life back?

Though most would agree that this film was predictable and the acting was sub par, I still enjoyed it, though certainly not anything spectacular. The film stays at a steady pace and has some good editing and camera work. Not a great slasher film, but it has a good story and is worth a watch.
