The greatest movie that no one cares about...

"As an oven cleaner, forget it. Add some soybeans and put an r&b musician on the front. We'll market it as a soft drink in the ghetto. We'll call it Victrola Cola". A structureless, avant-garde film about a token black exec who turns an ad agency into a militant sex party and has his way with the white world. Quite unusual, a definite cult item. Arnold Johnson is dangerous and charismatic, and the surrealism flies fast and hard.Very low budget, and borrows from the cinema of John Cassavetes. Unavailable on DVD. Look for a used copy.

This is something I can only describe as an absurdist blaxploitation film, and entirely one-of-a-kind for its day and age. I can tell where Downey, Jr gets his fabulously nuanced sense of humor.
