I'm a sucker for these kinds of movies. It's a "feel good" kind of movie.

I love this movie. It was just as good as the first Pure Country. Pure Country 2: The Gift was amazing and it inspires me even more than any movie ever has.

The whole "God has given you a gift" aspect of it was a complete turn off and there was no connection with the first movie, except that George Strait was in it. And btw, Strait plays himself and not the original character. It shouldn't have even been titled Pure Country 2.

Warmhearted. Unfortunately, it's also softheaded...The music in 'Pure Country 2' is quite listenable, but the plot that surrounds the songs is utter hokum.

Michael McKean, Bronson Pinchot, and Cheech Marin to start the film. GOLD!!! Lol. This is like a good ABC Family movie before they started showing shows about teenage whores.
