Pretty good movie I gotta say. Great Acting from Jessica Biel and I think this was Patrick Swayze's last movie so it was glad to see him even though his role was less than his usual style. Angelenos meet on Christmas Eve through chance, tragedy and divine intervention. Velvet Larry is the sleazy owner of the strip club where Rose Johnny dances. Qwerty Doolittle is a mortician who falls in love with her. Randall is the head of a corporate crime organization who tries to convince a former employee not to seek vengeance on his former co-workers. Charlie is a suicidal ex-priest. Lexus is a transsexual prostitute who shares an unexpected bond with the priest.

For such a depressing, heart-wrenching movie, this has one of the most beautiful endings I've ever seen. I found myself invested in every one of these characters, for so many different reasons. Although it's a hard film to watch, I highly recommend it.

I don't know why, but this movie reminded me "7 pounds". It talks about lives of different people. People looking for true happines. I liked it. But most of all I liked the soundtracks of this movie.

I love drama movies... that our life is all abt most of the time... askin the Lord 4 n-other chance 2b happy ! feel sorry 4 Liotta's character... been in jail for 25 yrs n never had a chance 2 say he's sorry 2 those he loved the most ! she's [his daughter in the movie] still young even if her life never was a chocolate... that's the best advantage of all ! I liked the most Lisa Kudrow's character... good ppl always find their way !!! n Whitaker's character is the luckiest by that ! 5 stars, but wouldn't watch it again though...

This movie followed the same type of story as movies like Grand Canyon and Crash. The plot focuses on several different people going through rough times in their lives. Some suicidal, some just looking for love and others just experiencing the rough things that life throws at us some times. It was a pretty good film though, very easy to watch.
