Confusion often reigns here, but the film offers a degree of lush beauty that makes sitting through it well worth the occasional frustrations.

Dreary family drama goes on to dominate what could almost be described as the plot, and mid-film sorties into a cheerless sex club and a rugby match at an English secondary school are as bamboozling in isolation as they are in context.

this is a fucking master piece since everything is a fantasy in dreams of Reygadas and only one that can be real is INTERNET as body of devil and unreasonable facts for what human beings fight and maybe kill them each others. terrenal things. EXCELLENT MOVIE WITH DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE OF CINEMA. NO FOR EVERYONE.

Un filme que critica abiertamente la diferencia en las clases sociales utilizando unos simbolismos bastante acertados, como la libertad de los animales vs la frustracion humana, o la nostalgia del pasado vs el presente. Una narrativa bastante fuerte que hace de Reygadas uno de los autores principales de la cinematografia mundial. Un filme no tanto para diseccionar en partes, como para experimentar como un todo.
