A good crime noir about drug trafficking in the Port of New York, starring Yul Brynner in his first film role. A nicely-paced plot with great acting, including Brynner as a very creepy soft-spoken villain. The voice-over narration evokes a bit too much Dragnet-style melodrama, but most voice overs did in that era, and the film is not very well-preserved. Otherwise a good film, though.

Not much to get excited about, but it does feature an early acting part by Yul Brynner as a ruthless gangster.

A non-traditional gangster flick. Yul Brynner plays a sadistic drug smuggler like only he could. Great acting, supporting cast and storyline.
