Mike and Lenny are two buddies who dream of getting out of the trailer park. Out of desperation they resort to burglary as a means of financing Mike's college education. At its best, in its early, more subdued passages, Poor White Trash provides a couple of pristine comic moments. At its worst, it spirals uncontrollably into an unfunny void.

Um, wow is the only term I can think of to use to describe this film. The fact that they flat out lied to a town in order to use it for filming purposes is "amazing" in itself. I have to honestly say I've never seen anything quite like it.

Essentially a single-gag movie: Namely, trailer trash are funny; we laugh at their bad taste and social ineptitude.
