Film noir at its best!!! One of Ella Raines first movies, she helps exonerate her employer who she loves, she goes undercover at her own expense, dolls herself up and plays one hep kitten at one point to catch a killer on the loose.

Another classic Film Noir marked off the list, this one the story of a poor guy searching for the mystery woman in the distinctive hat who can clear his name by providing an alibi for the time of his wife's murder. Well worth a rental.

I love this movie.. Ella Raines is so cool... She is the best girl Friday... helping her boss... I love the ending.. I am a sucker for old Noir movies.
