It’s no surprise to learn Kostanski has worked as a special makeup artist on bigger budget projects such as Suicide Squad and It, but this proves he has a way with actors as much as a knack for latex and fake blood.

I really enjoyed this. As strange as it is I still thought it was very fun from start to finish. Super campy, very gory “PG” is like a very grown up version of “Power Rangers” crossed with “The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy.” They take from the former so much that even it’s music is recreated with upbeat rock and high energy guitar solos for sections of the score. The practical effects won’t fool you, but they are simple, wonderful and very effective. If you are looking for a light horror flick that’s something fresh I’d definitely recommend it.

The movie’s ability to flirt with the familiar and completely turn it on its head is what keeps Psycho Goreman so perversely fresh and fun throughout. It never once betrays its dark heart and continually trots out practical creature effects that tumble out of a GWAR nightmare that keep it engaging, unique, and deliciously deviant all the way to the closing credits.

A movie that doesn't take itself serious for a single second. It's stupid fun and that's by design. Now this won't be appealing to most people. Psycho Goreman is basically a kids' show with gore and questionable moral lessons.

Psycho Goreman isn’t clever or lively enough to be more than fitfully fun, especially given how much time is spent mocking generic, but painstakingly recreated plot contrivances.
