Simple and beautiful, both actors did a great job and they were believable as a couple. Also, surprisingly you don't know what happens to their relationship until the very end, it's like a puzzle. I liked it.

The greatest romantic movie to jumble its time structure, Stanley Donen's "Two for the Road," is a touchstone that DiPietro must have had in mind. While this low-budget indie doesn't have the gloss or the depth of that romantic classic, the highest compliment I can pay Peter and Vandy is that it belongs in the same company.

Painful to watch at times, especially if you've been where the characters have been before. But it's definitely a rewarding experience over all.

if you liked 500 days of summer, you will really enjoy peter and vandy. an arthouse story told in a non-linear fashion of a love relationship and its progression from the highs to the lows. the PB&J scene defines them as they explore the fighting, contempt and negativity that most relationships struggle to get through.
