Screenwriter Victor Hawks' inclusive, all-God's-children message is above reproach, but his lead character is ultimately too good for the movie's own good.

This was a really sweet and inspiring movie. It's very religiously-based, and has a strong message of anti-bullying, tolerance, and kindness that is very relevant to our world today. It's very impactful to watch a community unite around a great cause, and this is a wonderful family film.
