cannibals. though not as good a story as Delicatessen.

When I first saw this it freaked the shit out of me. The story is told from a child's point of view of his parents, adults, food and life in the suburbias in the 50's. Randy Quaid is the creepy father that works at a nuclear power plant. His son is served leftovers for dinner almost everyday, until his curiosity reveals secrets he'd be happier not knowing. Superbly filmed and acted, this little film deserves a thumbs up for originality. It kind of has a Lynch like feeling and look to it. Directed by Bob Balaban.

Deliciously dark and psychotically weird. I still don't know what I think of this film. Watch it for yourself on hulu. Bizarre. Very very bizarre. I have no words...

This film scares the hell out me, probably one of the slowest paced movies ever that leaves you with a lingering suspicion of your parents if you're young (I saw it as a kid).

Creepy, moody, keeps you watching. The kid is effective.
