Yet more reasons why they didn't fucking do it. Because you can't have one without the other (almost like one movie with 2 volumes)

Really makes wonder if justice was served.

This is why you make documentaries. And films in general. Incredible. It's amazing these guys are still in prison for murder while Byers was never arrested. The filmmakers let Byers show how guilty he is by simply letting him talk. He admits that he has hallucinations, that he has psychotic episodes, and that he was abused as a child (as the forensics expert suggests his murdered stepson was as well.) Why psychological profiling couldn't be used in this case is a tragedy. As the review says, like the thin Red Line.

This is a good follow up to the original film about the case. We see the people standing their ground that these young men killed the kids and even more people coming to the defense of the men .We are given more information about the crime and how ill prepared the defense was to help defend these boys. As new and old defenders press on we see even bigger holes appear in the case.I would like to see another follow up to this case as the boys are still locked up and still trying to clear their name. New DNA evidence has come out that does not match the defendants and the most vocal parent of the slain children has now come out and said that he does not think that these boys committed the murders.

A continuation of the original Paradise Lost, and yet another HBO plugged documentary. In this sequel, you see how the hard life of prison has impacted the boys, especially Damien, who gets raped on a weekly basis. I would like to think that the stepfather of the one victim would be examined a little more closely, since he's out of his freaking gourd. But I guess people feel safer if someone is behind bars, instead of the crime being unresolved. Not as good as the original, but still worth watching.
