I actually skipped orchestra rehearsal once to sit in the library basement and watch this movie. Totally hilarious. All professional orchestral musicians (and perhaps, only orchestral musicians) would appreciate the humor.

I think this is my favorite movie about music as a general subject, but since it's Fellini, it's about a lot of other things as well.

IMO an incredibly underrated film from Fellini. More low key and political, but I think it's very funny and having played in an orchestra myself this makes the film even more amusing.
