One False Move (1992)

Following a series of drug deals and murders, three criminals -- Fantasia, Ray Malcolm and Pluto -- travel from Los Angeles to Houston, finally arriving in a small Arkansas town to go into hiding. It's so rare to find a film in which the events are driven by people, not by chases or special effects. And rarer still to find a story that subtly, insidiously gets us involved much more deeply than at first we realize, until at the end we're torn by what happens - by what has to happen.

billy bob's movies are almost always interesting and good quality. this is no exception. great characters, and good script. musics are pretty good as well. to billy bob fans: he was a guest @ Bill Maher recently, don't miss it, get the podcast...

excellent script about violent criminals & the cops who chase them from LA to Arkansas. it's a story of clashing dynamics & unique characters. good script, good acting, rookie director, dumb title.

One of Bill Paxton's best performance, its a great story with great drama, Billy Bob Thornton plays it so well, he is a perfect bad guy, the end is perfect, one of them endings that you come away from feeling that you have just witness a great film.
