An ugly, nihilistic film, striking on the surface but empty underneath

This film is genius ..... it is a modern take on psycho combined with the feel of a spaghetti western thrown in. There is not one wasted scene and the dramatic twists and turns are fast and furious. To categorize this film as focusing on a character that has pedifile tendencies is to miss the boat. This character has deep antisocial and delusional tendencies that coincidentally involve a young girl. I would highly recommend this film to any true film buff particularly if you like clever and surprising plot developments. Nice Job!

The riffs on Lolita are obvious and well referenced, but where Nabokov provoked in prose, Qubeka uses images and angles, forcing us into an uncomfortable complicity.
