A low budget scifi western that does really well in the story, casting and enjoyment departments but falls flat from being a good film due to some really bad comedy. With a cast that includes George Takei, Meg Foster, Julie Newmar, Andrew Divoff and Isaac Hayes, you knew it would sport some fun performances even if it was filled with plenty of overacting and huge amounts of charicatures. I'll even give the humour a few good nods. Takei continuously makes Star Trek related jokes that are subtle enough to pass for regular dialogue to a general audience but Trek fans would pick it up right away. But with silly music cues, some slapstick, and even references to things which were only current at the time of the film (an entire Schlick joke completely doesn't make sense today) you just can't help but bring this film down a few stars in the ratings.

Ooh boy. I remember this being a lot better when I was a kid... lol. Great concept though.

Luckily I'm a disturbed Star Trek fan so I can give this movie one star all because of George Takei haha.

What is there to say about this movie? Not really alot, I knew it was going to be bad, but I remembered it from my childhood. So I have to see it again, no matter how bad it might be. The Good: Well it was made by Full Moon, they've done some decent strait to video releases. Well I thought they did, I watched those movies when I was young and dumb. Now I'm older and slightly less dumb, so looking back on those movies has really made me lose the respect I once had. The Bad: Actually everthing, there is not one thing I liked alot. The story just feels pieced together, you know where its going to go. This seems like it was wrote for a fifth grade class project. The style is interesting, but falls flat with all the terrible acting. The Ugly: The make-up. Well its not bad, but Red Eye's make-up is pretty ugly, its one of the things I liked. The claymation was pretty nice also. I'm not sure what to say, but don't watch this movie, unless you really want to know how bad it is.

Arguably one of the best "B" movies of all time.
