Nightmare Man (2006)

Ellen receives an exotic mask by mistake and begins to have waking nightmares and hallucinations. Her husband and doctors believe she is a paranoid schizophrenic and take her to a psychiatric ward. On the way to the hospital the car breaks down, her husband rushes off to get gas, and the Nightmare Man appears. Ellen escapes and stumbles upon a country house where two young couples are spending the weekend. They do not know if the killer is real or just a figment of Ellen's tortured mind nor if the killer is outside or already inside the house.

Ok, it's a little bit of b flick, but this one is very entertaining to watch. There were a couple of very good spots in the movie, a couple of ok ones, and a freaky ending. I get the whole 80's feel in this movie but I did like it..

I totally disagree with the overall rating this one has...it has moments of pure horror brilliance with a mix of styles used in the 70's and 80's. I loved this one.

SWEET...definitely a turn off your brain type movie, but it was a lot of fun to watch and good campy and cheesy fun...some of the effects sucked but that was part of the fun of it...lots of nudity too, typical slasher in other words

Knowing producers and actors of a movie does make it better. I fear for how many stars I would give it had that not been the case. This movie could not decide if it wanted to be a suspense, horror, or soft-core porn. While I enjoy movies that don't fit into one category, Nightmare Man is disjointed. Shepis gets better as the film progresses but neither the cast nor producers could save this movie from its direction and cinematography.
