While the homeless, the mentally ill and the generally downtrodden are scattered about like so much shabby furniture, Rifkin has no qualms about wallowing in their filth, but he misses the tragedy of their lives -- just as he misses everything else.

The director seems to take an unseemly pleasure in [the characters'] misery and at the same time to congratulate himself for having the guts to confront it.

Cheesy, creepy, an exploitation flick with a budget but without the fun. Sam Moore stole the show, but probably tried to give it back after he saw the end product.

Ron Wells 08 Dec 2002

It's a harsh lesson, but this movie is more than able to grab and hold your attention for it. I just wouldn't bring a date.

Horny old ex-con, fresh out of jail kills a hooker. Very low budget.
