Two elderly criminals spend their final night in Los Angeles, California at the Golden Eagle Hotel prior to their departure to Las Vegas, Nevada, to lead a life without crime. The visual intensity and the relentless degradation visited on the characters begins to feel prurient and dishonest.

It's a harsh lesson, but this movie is more than able to grab and hold your attention for it. I just wouldn't bring a date.

A great movie of complete urban despair.The cinematography was really well done with interesting shots that were both varied and original throughout. A harsh portrayal of the cruelty and bluntness of life and humanity. Great film.

Great performances, andnice atmosphere really set the mood here, but it is somewhat ponderous, making it a little tedious to watch at times. Still good though, despite that.
